Facade? Well the whole power trip. It seems to me that women get off mostly on seeing how they can control a person. Not that they don't have the historical right to do so even when they have their own game on (money to fit the level as any man i.e. CEO, movie star, and such) Women have appeared to be dependant by a man even when the account has been balanced on even the most simple terms. They cook and garden while the man hunted for the meat and such.

I seek not a woman to dominate but a woman to balance. The relationship between the two sexes has always been obsfucated mostly by men but women perpetuated the myth as well.

the same can be said of man .... it's all individual .... some women use there sexuality as a weapon, some as a tool to get what they want, and some don't rely on it at all ....

I don't think men owe us anything because of historical imbalance ... it is what it is ... you choose to be a victim or not. Some women who are professional whores have no remorse and women who stay married for money feel no remorse for having sex with a husband they secretly loath. It's all what you can live with and I guess justify ....

I agree that young girls usually try and use being a female to control boys but once they grow up that should be a mote point.

I can't say I haven't used it ... used it several times to get out of speeding tickets but it doesn't define who I am ..... oh and I don't mean sex to get out of the tickets ... just flirting .... but I didn't loose my self respect. I got lost in the moment and got creative .....

I'm not sure what point I proved for you but okay.

Believe it or not there are men who can exploit their sexuality .... not as common as women but it does happen .... what about these guys who are bigamist and have all these wives ... spend all the woman's money, have kids and wives spread all over the place, then move on to another woman .... there are gullible women the same as men ...

Women outnumber men about 10:1 but there are guys still having to pay for it/sex .... makes no sense to me .... I don't get it when guys say they can't find a mate .... there are plenty to pick from .... granted sometimes it is slim pickings for a discriminate man but ..... you get where I'm going with this....

I think the biggest problem between the sexes is in communicating wants and needs ..... seems like females and males often speak a different language.

Often if a woman is straight forward with what she wants it intimidates a man. And as for females .... where do I begin to bash them ..... peacocks!!! Why they try and be what a man wants instead of what they want to be is beyond me ..... believe me, there are plenty of women that don't speak the same language as other women!

Wow, we are so judgmental here. I don't think anyone should feel obligated to be social, or obligated to be intellectual. Follow your bliss. If sitting on a forum all day makes you happy, sit on a forum all day. If reading in your room all day makes you happy, read in your room. If being with a lot of people makes you happy, be with a lot of people. If having a lot of sex makes you happy, buy some condoms. I don't think social is better than antisocial, it's an individual thing. For me, I love being social with a few bouts of antisocial here and there. But other people are different. And thank god they are. Imagine a world where society meant everything to everyone. We'd have no Bill Gates. What if some people never bothered to just spend a lot of time thinking? We'd have no Gandhi, no Buddha, no Christ. Then we'd have what? Less war? Less unity? Who knows? Point is, there's no right way to live for everyone. Just a right way to live for yourself.

Hey LC long time no chat ... hope you're doing well ... I don't think I was trying to be judgmental it was more advocating being well rounded .... you are an example .... you are an intelligent female ..... you don't sit alone at home as a computer recluse and then complain of being lonely and alone. You love to laugh and have fun. You can articulate complex thought processes and still go out and have fun with sports ... example of well rounded.

No one is saying anti or social is better or worse it's a balance that is important. the right way to live ..... LC, I agree that it's the person that decides what is the right way for them to live but if they c/o about being alone or lonely, it doesn't sound like their lifestyle or they way they are choosing to live is healthy or productive ....

My main issue was with people thinking anyone was superior or inferior just b/c of their lack of knowledge or experience. Intelligence doesn't imply superiority over another ...... sorry if my opinion offended you ....

Oh you didn't offend me. I agree, I hate the whole, "You are too dumb and ignorant to understand what I'm saying and agree with it. Goodness, I'm not better than you, I would never think that. You're just not as good." deal. Like everyone here has held these opinions since birth. Like no one here was ever 'ignorant' or 'stubborn'. Hell, we're all stubborn right now. I bet in 5 years if you read what you wrote right now, parts of it would make you cringe. And that 'you' applies to everyone, self included.

Holy crap Debdodd. Thank you for introducing me to my first cyber-space toung lashing. Wow. I'm quite new to being online and this forum is my first experience with online interaction.

I just want to clarify my statement as I believe I was the one who intejected the word "ignorant" into this thread:

WE ARE ALL IGNORANT - In terms of theology, nobody knows the truth about the existence of god. The only "enlightenment" I try to bestow on anybody is this FACT. That is what pisses me off about organized religeon. Every denomination claims to know the truth but when it comes time to showing the goods, the answer is always blind faith ... and people actually give it? More people than don't?

I am equally pissed when someone is willing to blindly state that there is no god. That is blind faith as well.

The whole point of agnostisism is to aknowledge the fact that we can't know the answers to these questions in our current plain of existence.

If there's anyone out there that can show me the truth - not with biblical passages or philisophical statements - but actual proof, step up to the plate. Otherwise, let's enjoy some casual argument and discussion.

Fire one at me, I'm ready.

It all depends on what a person wants and thats manipulated by what the conditions you build your society on. Oh yes their are men who manipulate their looks just like a woman manipulates their looks and make a woman... usually older kinda like a woman does. Always different dynamics you have to agree on those. What your values are as a human being are. I and my emotions have been stuck between the two before. I am not claiming myself to be some sort of Adonis just that I have been there and experienced the rediculous rifts people have put themselves into.

Women and men want the same thing. They want security that their emotional delimma's are equal. It's the same connection just on the opposite tract because women and men have different plumbing. Thats all. Same Race, same idea but on an equal level. A woman has what I need to balance me and a man has what I need to balance me. I will even use the completion words.

How did this thread get to be a war of the sexes rather than a war against manipulators and the truth?

Anyway... the war of the sexes is about Strengths and each of us has the reins. Each of us completes each other.
