I was getting bitchy and pissy about this thread but Piglet kept revising and revising and whoever her/his partner is did the job.

A True Agnostic either doesn't know therefore denies the existence of God or doesn't know and waits for the Truth to reveal itself through science. It is the mental culpability of humans. Not MAN. Not WOMAN. But HUMANS. It is not a collective thought process though. Einstein and Newton will attest to that. THEY WERE MEN. They were educated as we all should and can be to prevent the atrocities that life seems to throw at us.

Agnostics are simply people that want to know and will search for the truth or unaccept without incontrovertibrial physical proof that IT (God or Gods) exist.

Then they need look no further than Jesus who said - "I am the Truth".. ;)
He did kool miracles and stuff so his street cred is pretty good, and even his dad said -"This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, listen to him" (Matt 17:5)
So is there any particular reason you think Jesus isn't worth listening to?
Why don't you think he's telling the truth?

Because humans have a tendency to not believe until there is proof.

Yes, the problem is that God is a spirit in a spiritual realm and therefore hasn't got a voicebox, so he has to speak through the prophets and Jesus.
Incidentally Satans a spirit too, and has to use people to speak through, like these so-called christians below -
Steve H - "Micks a narrow-minded unchristian unqualified know-nothing silly little man and work-shy racist layabout"
Cymba - "Micks an unchristian aggressive liar showing no fruits of the spirit"
Zeke - "Micks wrong wrong wrong and denies Gods word"
Christian Trucker Pat - "Micks proud,arrogant,self-glorifying, uncharitable, offensive, lacking understanding and talking drivel"
Linda -"Mick's a silly little Brit"
Gloryboundd - "Mick's a senile liar and fool"
Elbown - "Mick you put me off Christianity and i'm a Christian"
SheriNuwine - "Mick you come across as a pervert,do you like cheeky little minxes who play with dollies?"
Sunami - "Mick...the lazy workshy parasite that you are"
Reverend Eric Potts - "You disgust me Mick"

It really all depends on how one defines "truth", doesn't it?

Some are able to utilize faith to believe a truth - others require proof - scientifically based evidence from which one could come to a logical conclusion.

Apples and oranges - differing perspectives, but both seeking answers, "truth" if you will... both believing their particular way is best and will find the "truth" first.

What if there is more than one truth?

Truth does not exist, because nothing can be absolute.
