Meh, it's merely an excellent word to say when I'm angry. No meaning. The syllables sound quite nice when emphasized and the absorb much of my frustration.
However, when in awe, I do say, "Oh my god". Note, I never capitalize it.

Chap, we weren't talking about Christianity. And everyone takes the Lord's name in vain. If he cared that much the majority of the western world would be smited (smote, smitten??).

yeh i know but you were talking bout religion and i didnt want to call christianity a religion....but i re-phrase......lol..sry....taking Gods name in vain has nothing to do with religion unless your a satanist or something.
lol.....and God does care....Would you like it if someone used your name as a cuzz word when they were upset?
people dont consider it a cuss word but i would say christian/christiancatholics/Islam would.

Laura Clay,No...He's the creator of us and we have feelings.
Him having feelings gives is someone to relate to...and Love is a feeling so without feelings we wouldnt be loved by him....Love wouldnt exist it all.
