Hey Guess what i saw this bumper sticker today, which i thought was kinda interesting. It said "Morality is doing what is right no matter what you are told. Religion is doing what you are told no matter what is right." What do y'all think about this?

I think it's a bumpersticker on someone's car who is angry. I don't simply do as I'm told.

I feel dirty all over when a bumper sticker hits the nail on the head like that. I would much rather have gone to some philosopher for that revalation. But yeah that's about right.

Well, while I think its pretty much true - it should be noted that everything I can think of Jesus telling people to do is the right thing to do anyway (the OT Xtian God? No. But Jesus - Yeah - who is what Xtianity is based on).

I think I'd love to find out where they sell those bumper stickers. I'm sure it would go over great in car line next to my student is citizen of the month.

While I'm not a fan of bumper stickers, I would love to see some buttons I can wear that says stuff like that.
