Bumper stickers creep me out. They always have these neat little sayings on them like that one that you just mentioned... and often times they make you laugh. But often times they are correct in what they have written on them.

No. The torah is a social glue for an ethnic group (hebrews). It has not been warped. In the same way that the caste system and reincarnation drive the behaviors and bind the social group that are the hindus in india, Yaweh is the social glue for the israelites. And a very effective social glue at that.

The same book you say was "Replaced" is supposed to illustrate prophecies that fortell the coming of christ. Moses expressed the golden rule long before jesus did and their system worked well for them.
