Agnostic vs. Satanism

Greetings all,

I was wondering if anyone has devulged into this? I have read the Satanic Bible and agree with the 9 worldy rules that Satanists live by. Plus, the use of Satan as a mataphour for the animalisticness of the Human is interesting to me.
I'm interested to see how others feel.

I am a Modern Symbolic Satanist. Otherwise known as a Laveyan Satanist though not of the other Laveyan sect of Naturalist Satanist. Yeah, there's a few sub sects within the general Satanic group. I've been a Satanic going on 21 years this October. Any questions, I would he happy to answer.

as logic rules my world, i cannot accept anything less. satanism is still a co-dependant religion, even in its current evolved form.

So what is the question here? Agnostics know that animal is the way the world works. The dominant economy infiltrates every aspect of of each of the religions and cultures of every country. Now Athiests can go balls out and not care about anything but themselves. I think agnostics see a more relative position whether they are more theistic or athiestic about God. I will speak for myself here... humans are not self contained entity's necessarily but dependant on each other for procreation and survival. Even if you have everything a person still needs people to let a person know they have everything (slavery, which I see Satanism needs a lot of and religion needs a lot of.)

There is no versus in Agnosticism and Satanism... they are two different perspectives like religion and atheism.

It is unfortunate that the use of the name Satanist still implies the worship of satan and all the religious connotations that go with that. If you worship satan then you can not be agnostic or an atheist, I am not saying you aren't just that is how it appears. It almost seems that satan worshipers are trying to fly under the radar so to speak (sneaky)

Maybe a better name would be humanist or something like that?

You know humanist would be a perfect label. But it lacks the penache and glam of Satanist. Face it, we pick the name for a good reason. Tends to make the dumb ones stay far away from us. So it works.

Yeah I can relate to that. Thankfully most dumb people are intimidated by me so I don't have to deal with them. Usually I throw the devil fingers up and hiss at them. Sometimes being a Satanist has its perks

Incidently I understand why people think Agnostics are evil George and it is the same as why people think true Scientists and Philosophers are evil. They question the rationale behind everything even what is common place say: God and Satan... gravitrons and space... free will and simple human instinct. Too ask questions and draw conclusions means no definite answer... there is no definite answer in the human train of thought so far. While the things a human has done seem impressive they are simply about prolonging the species or defeating it. There really is nothing conclusive about the Agnostic frame of mind and every human desires just that.
