first of all, I like Michael Bay movies, and I don't care what anybody says...I saw Transformers 3 times.

Anyway, so for Christians this movie is a lot more controversial than to me I would imagine. The question is "did the clones have souls?"

I'm so glad that to me its such a simple answer. We don't know, but that isn't what's important. They were people, just like everyone else, and they deserved every chance in life that any other human would get. The only difference is how they were conceived, it all ends up being the same thing. They're human, and human rights apply to them too.

Once you negate the concept of a "soul" to make oneself higher than other creatures it really does help clear up things doesn't it?

Clones with souls? Well why not. You could say they are a separate being from the original even if they are an exact duplicate. While the physical and mental abilities of these individuals might be identical to the original and may even follow the same path spiritually they are still separate. Even say if like on that Swartzenager movie about clones came to pass and these clones have the exact same memories and thoughts as the original... they aren't the original!
