Default Lottery Fantasy

Everone of us would love to hit the lottery for millions. I'm just curious to your reasons why you want to win the lottery and what causes you would divert excess money to.

Please don't post all that crap about not playing the lottery and what a waste of money it is considering the odds. I'm not looking for reasons to play or not to play. Just humor the fantasy.

Lastly, I'm sure there are one or two out there that have a reason for not wanting to win millions. I'd love to hear why.

I will post my reasons after I get some feedback as I don't want to taint any initial response.

I would buy a huge house with a giant library and fill it with everything I want to read, ever. Everything I'd even consider reading. It would have a fireplace and a hugy comfy plush armchair and a giant floor to ceiling window looking out on the sea. Also, there'd be only one door in, and I'd hold the only key.
For my charitable causes, I'd try to do something useful. Re-habilitate the homeless, actually get them jobs etc, not just money. Try to help in Africa, provide some sort of water or housing or something.
I'd also do a lot of traveling. And pay all my college expenses in full. And I'd have a nice BMW. I'd be a philanthropist, the best to my abilities, but I'd definitely indulge myself.

Idk. Besides a car, there's not anything I really want that's realistically out of my reach.

The AV was actually an attempt to turn may face into a yin and yang. It din't turn out as balanced as I wanted. To see me in person, I'm far from sinister looking.

So, Jaej, am I to assume that you are independently wealthy and happen to live thousands of miles away from a car dealership or are you the type that's content with what you have?

What to do with a gazillion dollars, wherever it might come from:

Pay off mortgage, finish renovations, build a nice new garage.

Buy myself a whole bunch of musical instruments: For starters, I'd get a double French horn, an alto sax, an electronic drum kit, a nice flute, several guitars including a '59 Les Paul and a Rickenbacker 12-string, a cello, a viola, and a real (non-electronic) piano.

Music lessons (particularly for French horn, which I've never played...)

Tuition: For myself, a B.Sc. (and probably a language course or two on the side); for my partner, a B.A. in English; and whatever my daughter wants to study.

Trip to Iceland, Norway, Germany, and the British Isles.

BMW 325is.

A motorcycle.

And donations to no-kill animal shelters, safe houses for victims of abuse, the local food bank, and a lot of websites.

I would buy a house for myself, one for mother and I would support her so she could retire.

I'd probably want to adopt a few kids and somehow get involved in wildlife rehabilitation, whether funding locally or opening a new one.

I've also always wanted to just randomly help people who need it, who are struggling, going through a hard time or just need help getting back on their feet.
