I am currently in the process of home renovation. I demolished the old garage myself last fall and am getting ready to build a new one sometime this spring. On top of that, I've got projects going on in every nook of the house.
I love doing the work and my only complaint is that I scarcely have time to devote to getting things done. It's quite a slow process. Not to mention saving the money for all the materials.
I figure it'll take 8 - 10 years to get the house where the wife and I want it. But, it's our place, and when it's done it'll be our little paradise. Untill then, I can't complain about having nothing to do.
