| Majors Hey there. As of now I am trying to decide what I'm going to major in in college. In case you care, I will be attending the University of Rochester this fall, so I was just curious to see what kind of majors all you guys had and what you did and where you went and stuff. Later.

| I was electrical engineering and physics dual degree when I was an undergrad. Together, they made each other easier. They were extremely complimentary.

| Yeah, I guess part of the problem is that I really have no idea what I wanna do. For a long time I thought computer science, but then I met this girl and got all philosophical and started writing stuff so now I think I might want to be a writer. Idk, there's just so much I want to learn, I don't know that I could be happy in just one field.

| Majored in Physics... I wanted to perform a dual major in Philosophy as well but I didn't have the time or the cash flow. I minored in Mathematics, English, and Philosophy. Yes I was that kind of geek hehehe.
jaej where do your interests lie? I am not talking about Majors or anything University related necessarily. I am thinking about in terms of real life... video games, starting your own business, drawing, writing, etc. Thats basically how I figured out what I wanted to do.

| Well, I used to be big into vids, which is why I wanted to do computer science, but lately I've become more and more introspective, just thinking about crap. I've started reading a lot, and I joined this forum because religion is just fascinating. Like, its not like I dislike video games anymore, because I still play them perhaps more than is healthy, but I'm not sure that is where I want to go for a career. I don't know. At this point, I'm just trying to brainstorm stuff.

| Have the best of both worlds. Major in something that interests you and that you know will get you solid employment that pays enough for you to take up whatever other passions you have in your spare time or even as a business.
