Predominantly, I've been listening to some Maze a group which was very popular in the 80s

Rock on Ozzy, AC/DC, Tesla, Queensryche, Areosmith, Warrent, Cinderella and the like.
I second that! Rock on and bring back the '80s!

Melos, what do you like about Rush? I grew up loving their music, particularly the complex arrangements, and the ability of only 3 musicians to put out such a powerful sound. I've recently rediscovered Rush, and now I am paying close attention to Neil Peart's lyrics, which tend toward agnosticism.

What other band's lyrics are similar to Neil's?

When did they start playing music again????? I remember the very first day they came on air and watching it in Granny Wolffe's bedroom. Last time I checked all they had on were those stupid reality TV shows.

Default I'm such an old fogie

I love music from such people as the great Ella Fitzgerald, Polly Bergen, Sarah Vaughn, Nat King Cole.

There is a channel on my television, where it plays music 24 hours a day (of whatever genre you like) and so I leave it on that channel while am on the computer or reading.

It relaxes me.

Rock was popular when I was a teen, just as it is today, but I admit that I am an old fogie. Anyone else like that kind of music?
