Default Different kinds of food and your view on it.

This thread came as an offspring from another, but it got me thinking about food in its many different guises.

Some like fast food and don't eat anything else, there are vegans who swear to the green stuff and so on and so forth.

Now, the question what is your favorite food?
Would you eat anything you got offered, which other cultures consider food, but would you decline and walk outside and hurl your guts?

My favorite foods would be

Steak from a Atlantic White-sided Dolphin just makes my day, together with lots of onions, potatoes and dark brown sauce mmmmmmmm
Blood pancakes are rather nice too, tough definatly not for those who are picky.

there are other dishes we got here, which might get mentioned later on though.

If food gets on the table I'll eat it, even if I don't like it, this would be cause I've been raised to eat whatever food there is, no special threatment.
I try as much as possible to stear away from fast food, though a pizza every now and then is acceptable.

What about

My absolute favorite dish would have to be:

Fried Ahi Tuna steaks, Cajun Style.

And since I'm in a great mood , havin a nice moring and my eggo in hand, I'll even include my recipe.

(might be ghetto, I'm not a chef)...yet

half full iron skillet of peanut oil
1 choice cut ahi tuna steak *the pink kind, about 15 dollars for a good cut frozen, up to 40 for a nice fresh piece
montreal steak seasoning, use as much or little as you'd like
black pepper, fresh ground : about two pinches
mae poy chili sweet sauce, korean made.
a dash of red rooster, "sri racha sauce" (caution it is hot , made from chili paste)

cook for 8-10 mins, flipping halfway
and you shall recieve a sashimi style tuna steak, a tad raw in the middle with a cajun deepfried outter shell.

Enjoy! and any seafood ideas please message me, I love sushi as well

Hmmmm, well I eat just about anything (practically no sense of smell, so there isn't a huge amount of difference in taste between things), though I do have to say that I LOVE kangaroo meat. It's actually not that commonly eaten here, but it's so delicious, lean, dark and generally wonderful. Kangaroo sausages would have to be one of my favourite things

Australia doesn't have much in the way of original food, though we have good food from just about every country/culture here, so there's limitless things to try, my area has a good range of Vietnamese, Thai, Suichan and Shanghai Chinese, southern Indian, Lebanese, Turkish and Balkan restaurants.

Oh, and a big fresh food market.

And I wouldn't mind trying a range of other foods, never tasted Whale, would like to try it sometime, emu and crocodile sound interesting.

Can't stand junk food though.
