How accurate, in your estimation, is wikipedia?

I have the same question.

It has been my experience so far that if you stay in the first sections it seems to be ok. When ever we need to go further than what is in your average high school text book I also use a group of other resources.

To steal a phrase:

When it needs to be accurate … off to do real research … the library and Experts … I go.

I have the wikipedia widget in my work's computer and I keep searching stuff there daily. I have my head full of useless but cool information.
If I need to get something important out of there I go and compare to other places. If it is just for the fun of it, I believe in it all
