Wow, that might go toward absolute truth and abide by relative truth restrictions...

If I'm saying "you are always you" then obviously I'm talking to you, and I couldn't be talking to you if you didn't exist. So now that you exist, ofcourse you are you. You = consciousness in the most basic sense. Like "I am always me." It wouldn't relate to any of your habits, likes or dislikes, or medication changes.

Hmmmm....

But in the mere time it takes you to say that, a few seconds could have gone by, and since you could argue that our consciousness can be variable from any instant to the next, the "you" at 8:00:01pm might not be the "you" at 8:00:02pm, and thus you wouldn't "always be you." Sweet! Absolute Truth still fails!

To apply it to the topic, I'm Not Convinced you appreciate the full implications of your username.

Actually, I think it's more fun if we pick someone's username, then all take a guess as to what the "real meaning" is. Whoevers closest could win a prize or something. Any volunteers?

Mine's quite dull really, was called 'Wolves Within' on another forum (randomly picked from a song for sounding rather cool), which became 'Wolfy' and then given an old-english twist became 'Wulfric'. Kept using the 'Wolf' theme as I have been told I can have vaguely lupine eyes.

My name well, it is my real name, a cookie to the one who can pronounce it right. And full control over me, just like with dæmons you know their name you control them.

I find it hmm how to say it hmm it is bad/despisable/wrong/whatever to hide behind a made up name, though I don't mind others doing it.

As for the meaning of the name, Bjarki = Litle Bear, in germanic, Dalsgarð = can't be bothered to translate.

There is a middle name too, but I never use it.

Mine was an attempt to be totally generic and without meaning. I looked around me, saw my beloved tape deck a the time (may it R.I.P) and said "Hey, that's a name I can use."

So I did. No biggie.
