I often found it interesting that the pyramid structure shows up in sacred sites all over the world. The more I watch the History channel, the more I suspect that there have been many cycles of humans reaching a highly technical age only to be destroyed by a cataclysm. I mean if a meteor hit earth right now, how much of modern architecture would survive over 10,000 years, probably not much. These are some theories I had been working over in my head for a while, till I came across this book called the Atlantis Blueprints by Colin Wilson and Rand Flem-ath. I find it fascinating, because in an intuitive way it seems to make sense with all the folklore and mysticism passed down through the ages. It's funny how most people in the established scientific community assume that nothing can be gained from those kind of Teachings and writings. I think that it makes sense to look at the themes that are true across all of them and try to find their origins.

Food for thought?

Would love to hear others opinions on evidence for or against Humans having reached a more technologically advanced stage than we are now. Any Atlantis folklore would be great as well, especially if it can be tied into new findings.

I was browsing in a bookstore one day and read about some place in India they excavated where the radioactivity level of the ancient human skeletons among other things indicated a nuclear blast and they ruled out other possible causes. Indian folkore has tales of an advanced civilization in the past that destroyed itself. Who knows? Maybe a limited nuclear war with atlantis or lemuria? Interesting stuff to ponder and research...
