It's called ignorance.

What you quoted was merely circumstance. A circle which you discribed can be anything.

It could be a circle of men, a circle of diciples. A circle of anything.

The earth was very VERY small back in those times.

Flat circles exist, too.

this was a time when people thought the earth was flat

and don't give me the earth is technically a sphere non-nonsense, a man living at that time would have translated what he saw in a vision as best he could especially since there is no word for sphere in hebrew

amen friends
comon on man. Do not come to a gun fight with a knife, please.

He clearly meant circle like a bird for starters. But I'll play along.

also: he was a smart man. He looked at every thing in the sky and saw they were round. Hmmm, but we are flat? he asked. He did not think so.

you forgot the last bit of Isaiah 40: 22

Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

oh well the the many men, who wrote this, were wrong.
Good help back then must have been hard to get.

Hallelujah my simian cousin

I was really going to lay into this comment, and had been thinking how to do it for several days, but seeing this person's status on the forum, I'll let it go.

Peace and Enlightenment to you, I hope that you find what you were looking for. :wavey:
