rightly so, that's just silly and so is the entire idea of evolution

do you realize that you are bringing this up in every thread, and you are using the same examples each time. this comment would be ok in a thread discussing evolution, and i do not want to tell you what you can or cannot post, but don't you think it would be irritating if someone posted random stuff that had nothing to do with the currant topic?
but you seem determined to talk about evolution, and because i'm too lazy to switch to the evolution thread, i'll humour you. i personally believe in both evolution and intellegent design. certain types of evolution are facts that i think everyone admits. it is a fact that all things "evolve" over time; in other words, they change and grow. religions evolve, society evolves, individual people evolve, etc. i also think natural selection is fact because a company may come out with a new bug poison because most bugs have become resistant to the old poison.
i think christians should at least admit these are true because these are the basic principles of adaptation. the evolution that most christians disagree with is that a species can evolve into another species. i can understand why you would not believe in this since it contradicts your idea of how man was created.
i am not asking you to believe in this, but just giving my opinion on why i believe it. as i stated in a different thread, different species possess similaritys. for example, there are many different species of cats: tigers, lions, bobcats, lynx, leopards, etc. they are different species, yet we classify them all as "cats". are the connections coincedence or did they all come from a common ancestor?
all the information on the different types of evolution, i learned from reading an article written by a christian on evolution. also, it isn't very kind to say someone else's beliefs are "silly". i would advise against this unless you wanted me to start calling your beliefs silly.
