| Why are we here? Why are we here ?
I don't mean why are put on this earth ...meaning of life etc
What are the reasons we joined this forum?
I supposed I joined to learn more about agnosticism and affirm the beliefs I had.
So far learned some, confused some, affirmed nothing.
all the best

I don't really see anyone who thinks exactly like me. I do see people who are willing to think though wich is very refreshing.
Ps. I appreciate the appreciation.

| I came here to have conversations with people about stuff. I decided specifically in looking for an Agnostic forum thinking I would find people to be a bit more open minded. Sadly I find the same patterns here I do with most religions. Kinda sucks. But there are those gems of good posters who I love to read!

| Honestly, I came here initially because I was ashamed of my rejection of Christianity. It's ridiculous, I know, but I am the only member of my family who deviates from catholicism. The vast majority of my peers are Christian. For a very long time I was isolated, going through the motions of a religion that i could never be a member of. Eventually I got tired of pretending to be something I'm not. I stumbled across these forums, and suddenly I found a place where it's ok to be yourself. Haha, and i guess it's helped me be myself in the real world too. I will never be ashamed of my beliefs again, and if other people can't accept me, so be it, I don't need their acceptance. That's right!

Nevertheless the people you sometimes you qive a quick smack, by and large, deserve it (I think).
I have not come across anyone who is truly vindictive yet, many opinions I don't like or I feel have not been thought out. Some people are less (or not at all tolerant). But I think just about everyone wants to make this a better world?
