you sound normal to me ..... lots of people try alternative religions to help them thru the fear of letting go of a faith based childhood ... you'll be in good company here and I believe you'll find that most will be friendly .... like any forum, we have our fundies, lunatics and fringe fanatics, we have a small group of assorted nuts on forum at present .... ignore them or have fun telling them off, within forum guidelines of course .... they'll either get bored with us or get vile and then Og will ban them .... it always happens with the true loons! Welcome aboard, I hope you find some cyber-friends with like minds .... I know I did ..... Deb

I'm here because I wanted to find a place where I could talk to people like me. I've spent some time on a christian site, which made me realize how much I long the company of people who are more open-minded (no offense to all christians, some of them have really awesome attitudes, too). Also, I don't agree with the argument that you can't be an agnostic, you either have to be religious or an atheist - I do believe there is a neutral ground and I surely can't be alone. So today I decided to search for "agnostic forum" on Google, and here I am.

ive been looking for a sign that there might just be a creator or a creative force for fifty years.I like many here where indoctrinated for many years into christianity but logic kkkiccked in with all the usual backlash. Im still looking and at times i see a glimse of a spirit in nature but its like the embers of a fire it needs the right breeze to flame them. Remember friends the journey is the best bit arriving is not so important.

What is the middle ground? Either a god(s) exist or god(s) don't exist. What middle ground is there? Whether we know or not or can prove or disprove god(s) exist beomes irrelevant to the question of Atheism and Theism. You either believe or you don't. Agnosticism is not a belief system.
