| I came here to meet people who i thought would also be wondering about why are they Agnostic and why not in an either side of the balance, probably this confusion, that i experience, i wanted to share it with others and wanted to know their opinion and somehow the purpose does not meet its end.
Neverthless, few discussions and people make this place worth visiting again |

What are the reasons we joined this forum?
I supposed I joined to learn more about agnosticism and affirm the beliefs I had.
So far learned some, confused some, affirmed nothing. | I thought I'd give this post a nudge ...as we have had a whole bunch of new members since the last posting

| I've affirmed alot in myself by stopping by this forum.
1. I love knowledge
2. The more , the less I don't know
3. People's belief's are amazing, no matter what religion or creed.
4. This site is a virtual sespool(sp) Of knowledge that gives me a whole double take on the internet i thought I once knew.

Neverthless, few discussions and people make this place worth visiting again | The balance is to be Agnostic. To realize that one is not truely aware makes one aware. We know that all is not natural, however we do not know why. To ask the question makes it so. |

We all believe that we do not Believe. There is a start in that. We can be one and realize that human Brovado does not equal salvation. No one is smart enough to tell me what is right and wrong. I follow the rules of conscious...not religion...It is really very simple. We realize that we are not smart enough to know how it started....we just know that it did. |

| Just for a twist, why do you believe that?
oh. Yes. I joined because I am currently studying religion and I felt this forum would help me. However, I do enjoy discussing "religious debates" and I felt I could connect to this forum.

We'll all get our answers on the other side, or in the event there is no other side, we will just be worm food and won't be aware or even care that the answers never came. |

| First and foremost … To be proven wrong.
I have been to atheist, Christian, and Islamic forums. I am tried so excuse the bluntness; I went through them like hot knife trough butter. Atheists were the easiest though, it is the hate they have, and it keeps them off balance, blinded, and asleep. I wish they could discuss things, it would be nice to understand their side. Rational to them means agree with me or you’re a delusional jerk off.
I am here because people seem to discuss for the purpose of teaching and learning. I like that. |

| I initially came here because I was confused as to the true definition of agnostic. Some claim that one can be a non-theistic believer in a higher power/God or whatever (which describes me) and be an agnostic. I never got the answer, but decided to stick around because of the eclectic variety of open minded individuals and the interesting discussion topics. The absence of trolls, flamers and self righteous snobs was also a major factor in my decision. All in all, its a pleasant place to hang out. |

| I came here, if I'm honest with myself, because no matter how long ago it was that I departed from organized religion, it remains a central part of who I am. After all, you don't try to force fit your life to an ideal for 40+ years and then, despite all the logical reasons, make a completely clean break.
My religious training still plays out on my thinking. And since I'm aware that it does, I have to make sure I'm conscious of what's driving my thought processes, and demand of myself that I accept nothing that doesn't make sense to me.
All that may sound pretty simple, but it's actually pretty complex. The point-counter-point I engage in here, because it challenges my thinking, helps me to gauge how closely I'm adhering to my ideal of being driven solely by logic and reason.
