I also believe that it is better not to push your beliefs on others. I don't like it when Christians rant at me, therefore I keep my agnosticism to myself. Not out of shame or fear but as many others do ... just to keep the peace. Faith and belief is personal and I have no right, as other do not, have the right, to cram my beliefs, or theirs down anyone's "throats".

I have never felt compelled to announce my religious/spiritual beliefs unless asked. Not that it's not important to me, it just never occured to me anymore than announcing any other belief or opinion.

I will not push my beliefs on others, but if prodded in conversations (i.e. someone says I'm going to hell for not being a devout Christian) I'll lay the metaphorical smack-down.
