| I am an American. So yes I would be upset. He may be an idiot at times, but he is a the basic average Joe president. And there are a few things you have to give him credit for. I'm not so sure some of the other choices of presidents out there would have brought us in the ok condition as of now (if you want to even call it "ok") |

| Ah but do you really want an average Joe kind of President? Surely as a nation you should be aiming for more than that? We've had an average Joe Prime Minister for ten years and he's been hopeless. In his resignation speech he said "sometimes you're alone with your decisions." Well, no you're not, you had a cabinet and a Parliament full of MP's who could have helped you decide but you ignored them every day of your working life.
You had a highly partisan president who, once he lost Congress, suddenly said, "hey ho, chaps, how about a bit less partisanship, let's all work together." Meanwhile he sends more troops to Iraq and asks for more money to solve a problem he started in the first place...

| Trust me my friends, even Americans that support Bush are ready for him to move on. Everyone is tired seeing friends ship off for Iraq, tired of failed immigration reform, tired of reckless spending, and tired of the same old Bush jokes. I can't wait for the election and at this point I don't care who gets the presidency so long as it's a change of pace. |

I certainly don't want a President who thinks water boarding is nothing more than a "dunk in the water". I think that shows a disturbing lack of empathy for other human beings. |

As far as Georgie is concerned I would question why the assassin decided to wait six and a half years before doing the deed but outside the US and, apparently, Albania, few would mourn.
I suppose the wider question is should we wish people dead? There are plenty of people out there I wish hadn't been born - Ahmadinejad, Saddam, Netanyahu, Natasha Beddingfield, Phil Collins, a kid I was at school with called Alex etc. But having been born would we condone their murder? | I don't think we should wish people dead. I'm not mourning the death of Jerry Fallwell, but I'm not rejoincing eithier. |

| Of course we should wish people dead. Upwards of thirty million people died because of the vanity of Adolf Hitler to use an obvious example. I think it would have been fair enough to congraulate those on the receiving end for wanting the perpetrator of their suffering to cease existing.

| I have to be honest - I wouldn't be angry ,but a bit let down that someone stooped low enough to do so.
Bush will suffer more knowing he's going down as the worst president in history. Let's have him around to be a living reminder of what happens when you don't use your brain to vote and install a drunk as president ( yeah yeah the people didn't elect him the first time ). If he died by assassination you may create in some obscene way a neocon maryter.

| Disclaimer: I am not an American but I have several relatives Stateside.
I wouldn't be angry. Wouldn't be sad, either. Might be mildly disappointed, because for some reason I'm expecting him to spill the beans about something before his life runs his course. |
