Just a theory based on whats been happening in the news recently. Does anyone else think Iran is next on the coalitions hit list? It has oil, its getting bad press in the media lately with those navy soldiers, and america is complaining about their nuclear industry. its seeming a little familier to me

I honestly don't think this administration has the balls to go start another war. The two they've already started don't seem to be working. If anyone does, it'll be after 2008.

Do you think the next president will be a democrat? If bush does nothing to make the peace with congress now and the next president is a republican, nothing will be accomplished. The time to fix things is now.

Pelosi and the Democratic crew are sending a strong message. They didn't cut the funding to the troops but they pork barrelled it to death and added a time for troops to be pulled out. Pelosi went over to Syria and I almost laughed when within a day the Syrian whoever made a call to the Iranian President and poof those British sailors were out. A Strong Message to Bush.

Iran... well if you watched the news... Saudi Arabia has denounced the Iraq war as wrong. They met with Iran on friendly terms soon after. Believe me the not so suddle(sp?) hint that the Middle East is getting tired of America being over there is being heard and seen.

McCain turned to Bush's thinking. Gulliani is far to liberal and his past is shaky so he probably won't be given the Republican vote. Hilary should get the votes to become President with Obama as Vp. The world isn't ready for either but that entertains me because I think both those people: Both woman and black (which I think Obama doesn't think of himself on those terms which I appreciate) will be busy throughout their first term straightening out the Middle East debacle where by the time their second term comes they will be human enough to deal unbiased with the whole world I hope (I distrust Hilary mainly from this aspect.

It should be a Democratic President based on this War and threat of a regional War elected to the White House. They better not be weak either but Bill Clinton did ok so...

Hasn't Iran offered several times to open negotiations with Bush about the nuclear 'crisis'? And Bush has refused until they stop any manufacturing at all? But they just want nuclear energy. I think China and Korea are bigger threats than Iran. Iran wants peace. China and Korea...not so much.

But even Korea is starting to open it's doors. They did give us those remains, after all. And they are starting to negotiate about their nuclear program, or at least that's what I heard.

Which is why China's the scary one now. Does anyone else find it ironic that we're the only ones to ever use a nuclear bomb, yet we tell everyone else they can't? But honestly, I don't want to give up ours, and I don't want anyone else to have any. Until the entire world is devoid of them and we are 100% sure no one will ever make them, I don't want us to lose ours. And even then, maybe we could just hide them somewhere top secret...

We should just have a Great Convention like they have in Dune where it's illegal to use them. The problem is there's no real way to enforce it, and nations like Iran and NK and China probably wouldn't listen.
