As things are going the Shia majority is going to take over the country. Only Iran and their supporters will be happy with that. Mind you the majority of the world is Sunni.

Image:Islam-by-country-smooth.png - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Imagine if the Shia win the current CIVIL WAR how the rest of the region is going to behave. It isn't going to be pretty... if Hillary goes in she will do the smart thing and pull us out. The next smart thing she SHOULD DO is prepare the Intelligence offices for another 9-11 cause it'll be coming. Its coming no matter what we do anyway. Afghanistan was ok but Iraq was a dumb and dumber mistake by Bush. No win situation except to take out the whole region.

I totally agree with you there! Many parts of our country are languishing or on the way to being "broken," but sometimes our government seems more concerned about the welfare of other countries more than our welfare.

Your list is just the tip of the iceburg, walrus.

Try googling " Cheney and Halliburton," "George W. Bush family ties Iraq and Bin Ladens" and "Karl Rove and conspiracy" for some more background to flesh out the context of the GWB administration.

Guaranteed interesting reading.

If we continue, we will simply add to the list of countries with better standards of living than us. I'm all for helping, but some of our "help" is questionable.
