I apologize Buzz ... you do understand the word.
Must be a problem with the word ... shun?

The bible tels what hell is like. I'm sure you've all read at some point in your lives, about that. You've chosen to believe Satan's biggest lie of all... that niether he nor God even exists. GOD is a merciful GOD. He gives you free will to do as you please with your lifetime. But, you all know the consequences of your decisions and actions. As they used to say when I was in the Marine Corps, there aint no atheists in the foxhole. You ALL will bow before the LORD one day. I only hope and pray that yall find salvation before it'sa too late for you. | Once again, an intelligent conversation goes down the toilet.
One man's truth is another man's lie. One man's lie is another man's truth. There are no absolutes in this world or the next one, if there is a next one.
We have given you a multitude of reasons why church and state MUST be separate to preserve freedom and liberty. You come on and condemn us to eternal damnation because of it. Sigh.

But surely Buzz's mortal being is far more important than the constitution, and separation of state and religion.
We must do our best to save Buzz from a finite delusion.

Sigh. | I really don't mean to get off topic. It is not me that will condemn you. It's GOD. I was just trying to inform you of the consequences of your actions. I don't mean to be so "preachy". For that I apologize. The preachy part I mean. But not for trying to save your soul. It is my calling in life to minister to all I can. I will not apologize for being concerned about your immortal soul.
I agree that there should be a seperation to a degree. But, stop trying to push GOD out all together atheists. That is my point. I agree that schools shouldn't be teaching religion of ANY type. That's MY job as a parent. But more and more, they're forcing islam and all that junk into the schools. Don't make certain consessions for some and discriminate against others. That's what is upsetting. |

We are grownups, and wear big boys and girls pants and can make up our own minds. Cop a clue, man.
On the second part of the post above, I think we do have some common ground for understanding.

But what I do find tedious is using the Bible as a source of proof. The Bible is evidence at best. Frankly if you want to save us ... you have to enter our world. You cannot do it at a safe distance from the pulpit.
All the best

Why is it so important to some of the atheist crowd that God be taken out of every facet of our nation? I hear the term "seperation of church and state" alot. Someone show me EXACTLY where in the Constitution it says anything about seperation of church and state. It's not there. Does the word GOD physically hurt or something? Help me to understand. | I dont mind seeing "God" on money or anywhere else in society. I just dont want to see the federal, local or state government proselytizing fundamental christian beliefs on others which is not really happening anyway for the most part. I dont count christmas decorations on goverment property or biblical school plays as proselytizing so thats ok with me. I do take issue with courthouses displaying the ten commandments. Our courts should be adjudicating local, state and federal laws and not religious ones though sometimes they do overlap (e.g. thou shalt not kill or steal) |
