Absolutely. Reality doesn't change. When a persons body doesn't breathe or move anymore no ones relative view of reality is going to convince it to start breathing again or move specially after an hour or so. Go ahead and jump off a 40 story building and maybe from your relative view of reality will say you will fly or bounce off the concrete unharmed. It isn't going to happen.

I think lauraclay is getting at that everyone is searching for the truth and some people simply take their truth on faith because everything else takes to much effort. Religion is that faith and agnostics here have chosen something else. Is that about right?

And many people say that reality is just a consensus of perception. We could make reality anything we wanted. True, there are lots of situations where I can't prove this, but maybe I'm just not smart enough. In truth, reality is only what you believe.

No. Wrong. 'Two' and 'three' aren't things that need to be defined; they are simple measures of reality. No matter how different an idea of 'two' you have, if there are three apples there there are three apples. Your concept of 'two' is irrelevant.

by your logic, God is real, because I beleive he is.

this is not a world of "whatever you think goes". Reality is unchanging. it is our perception that changes. The example you just gave is flawed. Language is a relative thing, and you did not appear to take that factor into account.

what's in a name? Is a rose any less sweet, if it is called by some other label?
