| one it seems to me that everything is made up of the same parts, i believe current therory has the smallest part being a quark or a string, im not uptodate however. also everything apears to be changing. i also am literally what i eat and breath. also everything has its causes and effects, there doesn't seem to be something that is completly indpendent. everything seems dependent upon everything, everything is part of the same system, everything is one.
what do you guys think of the above idea

what do you guys think of the above idea | We ARE all one! We all came from the earth and God knows what before that. This is not only evident by dependence, but is also suggested by several quantum theories. IMHO, We are merely individuations of the whole and we are all linked at some subatomic level we do not yet know or understand. |

| i guess im a monist that thinks the theory that everything can be broken down to the physical is the best representation of the world. i can't reamber what type of monist that is. i've noticed alot of people seem to think duelisticly, good and evil, devil and god. law and lawless. but it doesn't seem to be such to me.

Check that thread that I started a long while back.
You are dead on. This is fundamental buddhism and it is the essence of enlightenment.
I also like that the term UniVerse even sounds like "the one statement" (uni - verse). NOTHING has intrinsic identity.

| i've thought about it and the only thing i can think of that might have intrinsic propertys is the smallest most fundemental thing. it does seem like everything, within the scale of being able to see it with the eye,has no intrinsic identity.

| All rivers run into the sea.
Creation is all the little creeks and streams. As you near the sea, there is less and less division until finally there is none at all. This is a spiritual path.
If you reverse that, and go back out into creation, it branches and divides again and again. This is a worldly path.
