I could see where maybe on a cellular level different cravings or behaviors could be transferred, but I believe it is a psychological experience. Ever since I've been dating my girlfriend she has begun to take on new behaviors and likes and dislikes. Conversely, so have I and it's just because we're around each other so much. Furthermore, I've seen in other observations that couples or even close friends sometimes tend to look alike over the years. They begin to do things like make similar facial expressions because of inside jokes or take on habits that lead them to look and dress the same way. Mammals have always had the instinct to adapt to their surroundings. Whether because of physical or social survival it translates even into the smallest of gestures that we make today. We're just keeping with the times. In a nut shell....it's all in their heads.
Oh and I'm from Daytona Beach, FL
