Default What Is Love?

1." Love is patient. A friend, companion, or child needs yours love, more than ever when you may believe that he or she "deserves" it the least."

2. "Love is kind. A special gift is kindness, such happiness it brings,
when we are kind to others...our own heart sings."

3."Love is not envious of others fortunes, health and beauty. Love
desires these basics for all people.

4. "Love does not boast of how he or she has brought another individual
down to their level of nothingness, in order that he or she may show his
or her...vain and superior ability of brutality."

5. "Love is not proud, that he or she is in a better position financially,
health wise, in physical or emotional appearance, in intelligence, etc.
For in truth...love can only be fully and completely happy, when all
sacred and divine individuals are fully and completely happy."

6. "Love is not boorish, abrupt, course, curt, unrefined or rude...for
love is desirous, to understand th true in tent of the heart and soul."

7. "Love is not self-seeking. Love does not build up his or her ego, by
stepping on the faces and heads of others...degrading, humiliating and
tearing down their proper virtue, moral and physical strength and sacred
emotions. Love does not accept compensation for good acts, actions,
and/or deeds."

8. "Love is not easily angered, by simple slights or mistakes from others,
for he or she recognizes that we are constantly learning, so naturally
we are bound to make some mistakes. Love recognizes that the most
important thing, is that we learn better ways, where in we do not
continue to make so many mistakes, and that we apply these valuable
lessons for good unto our own understanding...to better our selves
and to better our sacred families and neighbors...for this is the way
to true, genuine good and happiness."

9. "Love means that you keep no record of simple slights and mistakes
from others...and that you keep no record or tabulation table of the
gifts of good and kindness, that you have given out...therefore hoping
and waiting for some type of thank you, blessing, gift, and/or reward."

10. "Love could never delight in an evil, abusive or immoral plan, or ideal...
or have any respect for any individual, or group of individuals, who are the
carriers, doers, and/or servers, of an evil, abusive or immoral plan or ideal.
Evil, abuse, and immorality are a direct and hostile enemy to love."

11. "Love always rejoices in the proper and plain truth. For without proper
and plain truth...there could never be just law...only chaos, confusion
and strife..which leadeth to separation, divorce, war and destruction.
Without proper law...there can be no real justice...no proper and correctional
judgment, or genuine, benevolent and sincere love."

12. "Love always maintains, sustains, protects, and guides, that which
is moral, proper and deserving of sacred guidance and divine protection."

13. "Love always trusts in the properly authorized and foreordained
Romanovae' Law, to bring forth true justice, and to put a final end to
corruption, war, and immoral hostilities...hoping every step of the way...
that those who hate morality, kindness, wisdom, and love...will
have a change of heart, and once again be good...and therefore God."

14. "Love always preserves and continues on in the true cause of the
Godly, Moral, Upright, and Just Wholly Families...which is to bring
forth, true justice, divine relief, and genuine peace, by and through
sacred truths, absolute righteousness, merciful judgment, and proper
atonement, by and through the venues and sacred truths contained
within our Sacred and Wholly Law. Love is the divine gifts of true
safety, perfect health, genuine prosperity and the real and actual peace
and undefiled happiness...that we as sacred and divine beings were
always meant to have...which is on par equilibrium with atonal
harmony, balance and justice."

15. "Love is our Most Sacred and Divine Romanovae' Ancestry...
and all that they have taught us, by their immaculate examples of
purest love."

16. "We are the realization and evidence... of this Sacred and Divine Love."

Most graciously,
Cathy Jean Mockwitz(Romanovae"***Da La Vinciente')

I understand and agree thoroughly with the "truth" in points 1-10, but I dont get the others entirely. No big deal, though. This is the common concept of love that most people believe in and I do, too, but what the kind of romance where love is present, but there is also abuse in the relationship? Can one love someone, but at the same time, be emotionally unstable and abuse their partner by striking and controlling? What if the person that is being abused enjoys receiving it; the dominance and abuse and is fine with it? In this case, could this could be considered "true love"?

I'm not sure why I ask...

And my soul said, "Let us pass on. He is the realist, who turns his back on the whole he cannot grasp, and busies himself with a fragment."

"Just after my brother died...in the year 2000...I was given a copy of a poem that had been one of his favorites. My brother had been very troubled...after having engaged himself deeply with a dangerous group of people who were practicing witch-craft and hypnotism. As a tribute to him and others who were suffering, I decided to take the poem, and elaborate on each line, adding more of my own to complete it. This is how "What Is Love" came into being."

As to your questions...
1.What about the kind of Romance where love is present, but there is also abuse in the relationship?

"I call romance Gypsy love...or alienated love. It is like playing cards in a gambling house...but like all games and all parties...the game and the party eventually comes to an end. Unfortunately, those who decide to play this very dangerous game...find out...too late...that love is not a sport, and they have losses that they will rarely be able to re-coup. Therefore, if there is abuse in a relationship, when the clock strikes 12:00 and the time is up... those who have placed their bets on abusive practices...(where love is used contrary to its true and intrinsic nature...will sadly find that there are divine rules and supernal laws that govern the sanctity of love...and the poison darts that deviant one was aiming at an innocent love...will come back...full force...to hit the truly abusive one... who tempted fate with their own toxin."

2.Can one love someone, but at the same time, be emotionally unstable and abuse their partner...by striking and controlling?

"I do not believe that love and abuse can be felt for another individual...at the same time. Love is rooted in respect, where as abuse is rooted in disrespect."

3.What is the person being abused enjoys receiving it, the dominance and abuse...and they are fine with it? In this case, could this be considered true love?

"Only if they are from the animal kingdom."

4.I'm not sure why I ask?

"Only you can answer that one."

We shouldn't separate our understanding of Love from the mechanics of the body (mechanisms driving these emotions).

Zen asked the question about the sound of one hand clapping. The answer lies in the links between the components that make up the universe and the sound resonates thought the cosmos.

Try not to treat the pieces of the puzzle as all there is. When we do this there is no clear picture, just a jumbled mass of misunderstanding and frustration.

"Zen...is a concept...not a real individual. It does not ask anything. There is no quality to the few ignorant words you have summoned up the courage to write. I suggest you get a pet rock...and pray to it. You could name it Zen. If it does not respond in a manner pleasing unto you...you could throw it up in the air. As it comes back down upon your head...you can say you have received a premonition. Your Zen God has revealed great wisdom to you. Perhaps this will be accepted as a sign of a future asteroid encounter. Apply to NASA...they pray to rocks too."

Well, this is good.
It seems we have one major thing in common.

No quality to our ignorant words.

Jesus said that you should Hate those that you Love. Luke 14:26-27

Quote:
...the sound of one hand clapping. The answer lies...
AB. There is not an answer to this question That's the point. It's a koam designed to free your mind from the world of categories of though that it is bound in and defined by and connect you to the transcendent root of all things.

Zen teachings tell you to simply consider the question. It's intentionally an absurdity. The result is "Aum/Ohm/Om"... This is about as close as you get to an answer where the Buddhist teachings are concerned.

Ironically, Jesus' comments above, particularly when combined with "Love thy enemy" sound quite a bit like the "one hand clapping" concept. These comments of christ seem to directly illustrate how we are bound to dichotomies such as "love and hate" and "enemies and friends."

Another dichotomy that should be discarded is that of "you" the creation and "God" the creator. That's what jesus discarded (and thus said "I and the Father are One" in the book of John).

Love/Hate is just another dichotomy. It makes sense that God minded people would consider Love to be divine. They still think of a distinction between people and the divine. The true understanding that Jesus and the Zen teachings point you at is that Love and Hate are all one and inseparable and could not exist without one another. Hitler is as much love as ghandi is love. Just as they are both hate. It is because they are one just as we all are with them.

That's the sound of one hand clapping.

"The teachings you describe are those that take individuals into outer space. They confuse the mind...to keep it preoccupied with worthless information...and truly grotesque people. This is the way an alien creation and the alien creature...(the doer and server of the creation)... lures you into it's web of deceptions and lies. Eventually the Most High God...the Self...along with others of like Self... will find release from this world of toxicity by and through the venues of what you call...death. The soul...have been released from that which has destroyed it's inherent goodness...which is falsity."
