What are you measuring this change with respect to?
Perceived phenomenon seem to be conserved as well (i.e. conservation of energy and mass and equal and opposite reactions). Nothing seems to be added or subtracted from perceived phenomena as well.

Change is relative based on how we define any particular finite phenomena. I can define something as matter in one moment, but then it may change its form into what I might define as energy in the next moment. And although the "essence" of what constitutes that particular form is always there, we can for the sake of convenience say that it has been X number of moments in time since that form was what we would define as matter, and is now what we would define as energy. This is essentially what the Buddha was talking about when he spoke of reincarnation.

Noooo... *That* is the work of the Norns.

Speaking on behalf of my Valkyrie colleagues, our primary task is to airlift Einherjar off the battlefield. Perhaps you meant Seiškona or vitki or gythia, as divination and numerology and other such woo is not in our current union contract.

To simply answer the question, fate doesn't exist at all.

Turning matter into energy how does that define reincarnation. Its another theory and no proof again and again. Ive asked this question numerous times to budhists,,,if there was ten million souls in 1608 where did all these billions of new souls come from?Is there finite amount of animal souls waiting to join the human race in their turn of upgrading into human souls and why do they have to wait several billion years to advance up the ladder. Who chooses the new souls is it the lion who let a gazelle go free or is it the dog that did not **** on my grass. Sorry just like all belief systems they fail to impress me with their details.

xris,

I define reincarnation essentially as the constantly changing nature of all finite phenomena. Everything else you said has nothing to do with what I was talking about.
