Default the justice system

innocent until proven guilty vs. guilty until proven innocent

innocent until proven guilty has low chances of an innocent person being punished, but on the downside, it makes it easier for a guilty person to escape unpunished.

on the other hand, guilty until proven innocent would have a low chance of a guilty person escaping punishment, but more likely to punish innocent people.

so which do you think is worse? punishing an innocent person (from fines, jail, or evan death) or letting a guilty person go free and unpunished?

Thats a no brainer. Punishing an innocent person is much worse. When answering this question you need to put yourself in the place of the innocent person being punished if you wish to answer it ethically and fairly.

I take choice 3.

If the justice system has exercised the technology at hand and all the physical evidence without lawyers.

The " defendant " is put in prison until proven innocent without a doubt.

This will be Switzerland by 2020 Thank You.

This is worst thing I ever saw. They make good watches tho, maybe they should stick to what they know.

No clear cut answer here.

In today’s system I think the first is better for the most part.

Possible exception: child molestation. Would you be willing to put an innocent male in jail to save an innocent child? Putting the responsibility on the defendant so we relieve our personal responsibility confuses me to no end.

I really need more data here!
Does anyone know where I could find numbers of possible innocent jailed child molesters so that I can compare that number to the number of repeat child molesters out there?

innocent intill proven guilty is better,

in a guilty til proven inocent system any one could make a claim, and without conclusive proof, anyone without power would be in jail. it would also almost be like a popularity vote also.
