Default What Is Moral Fiber?

Moral fiber is a statement that not many people look at. It's a vague and ambiguous statement that has different effects on different people. what does moral fiber mean to you?

My definition is actually quite simple: Consistently doing "the right thing" even when one could benefit from doing something else.

Now, when you say the "right thing" do you mean a "good thing?" Because sometimes the right thing isn't neccessarily a good thing. Sometimes you have to do something bad to do something good. Yet all in all it could be the right thing to do.

What does it mean to you?

Good question. Yes, if the "right" thing is something bad, that's what needs to be done. In my experience, that's where 'moral' fiber tends to manifest most spectacularly: In the doing of unpleasant and difficult things that are necessary to prevent something even more unpleasant.

Well I'd have to say that moral fiber to me is doing everything, not anything, it takes to benefit not only others but yourself as well.

Moral fiber is liberal bs propaganda.

Do what is most beneficial to you kids, and ignore all other actions.
