| Dirge my question is if this is a mainstream Judaical acceptance or just a Jewish faction that embraces this thought process .... the Jewish people I know don't think like that and you are the first Jew I have ever heard say this. until I hear more verification of this line of thought please excuse me for being beyond skeptical of what you say.

| I'll just point out that what I say does not reflect all jews
but this is the more accepted modern day look at Judaism. More in Israel than abroad.
Jews abroad tend to be more God reliant and more religious in general because of the feeling that they need to strengthen their roots. What I say is what I was taught as a jewish citizen of Israel, in a public school, in Tora class. Many don't even believe in any form of religion, or just don't care about it, yet feel obligated to continue jewish tradition, as i do. and ofcourse there are many that do believe in God. It's a matter of where you were brought up.
This is my reflection on modern day Israeli jews living in major cities.

| No really I think it a great line of thought ... I would love for more religions to embrace the same concepts. Forgive me if this sounds rude but I just can't see some of the hard core Hasidic Jews embracing this line of though. Do you believe that there are many that see a different path for thru jewsih faith and family, Wuouldn;t it bewonderful if it all work out, Your people have over come so many numerous obstacle. I hope we all can live in a world of peace. Does this thought process go on in the city or is it currently in some of the out laying retreats.
Good talking to you.

| Fun thing about Jewish Folk in Israel is they perform on their own agenda and their own time. The rest of us are Pagans and they don't understand why God doesn't come down and save them from the pedestrians that plague them. If America in general didn't claim the same Holy Places as they did the Jihadists would have wiped them off the face of the Earth a long time ago.

| They've tried to, and still do
In the the 6 day war of 1967, Israel fought 4 arab countries, as well as the independence war in 48.
It's the fear of losing the Jewish culture and the only place left for Jews that gave them the power to fight so many fronts, and still win (With help from the USA in weapons ofcourse).
I guess its those kinds of things that Israeli's see as miracles and only strengthen the belief in God.

| Haven't Jews always been wanderers like the gypsies until more concrete cities were created though?
