I think that they held themselves together as a race, even while being spread all over the world, because of a strict and pretty much unchanging adherence to their rituals. Maybe more so than the other races. Even when Jews are not orthodox they consider themselves as part of the 'chosen people'.

So I got to admit that unchanging is pretty impressive but that makes that makes them what? Israel hasn't shown me that killing a lot of people that want to kill them somehow 'Chosen' above everyone else but through superior firepower it gives them a safe place for Christians and Catholics worship. As an Agnostic I see nothing inherently 'Chosen' except to carry on what I see as a dream! Thats just me though. I don't get where the Jews are a race either I hope someone can explain that one to me.

I think that they are just the scattered remnants of a tribe holding onto a nation that was stolen for them. Sort of like calling gypsies a race.

I better not get more demerits for this, it's just a goyim’s observation of history.

True gypsies are a race. They were originally a people who inhabited a part of northern India. They were dispossessed of their land by an invading king.

Wow Jacob how many people can say the same thing with their history? A whole LOT but the difference is sometimes these peoples were bred into the race by an invading King. As for Northern India lets talk about China and Vietnam and all of Bavaria for that matter. Just because a stalwart group got thrown from their land but managed to maintain their ideology doesn't rate them any better than anybody else! Expecially a group that holds onto the shaky foundations of a religion that is HIGHLY suspect!

I agree. I was just pointing out where they came from for the sake of interest. I know this probably sounds idealistic, but I'd like to believe that we are all pretty much the same anyway. We are all members of the human race.

BUT Jacob some people think they are superior to others and because of this we draw lines. Two members of the Agnostic Forum felt I was an anti-semite... the most boring of the racist remarks.

So what I do I write a thread asking them to explain their remarks. Needless to say they disbanded their thoughts and kissed the only heritage they understand. I don't particularily like their decision but thats what they did.

I don't get agnostics that are Jewish.
