Another thing about the quran is that it came to a people of poets, the arabs who took pride in their poetry. In the quran is a challenge which is presented to people who speak arabic to produce something equivilent to the quran. A man by the name of Anish Shoorish (biggest liar i've ever seen) tried an his book is the laughing stock of all arabs

I read about all I could stomach of that thread. Stuperficial and Stuperstitious similiarities thats all I saw. Christians do the same thing.

no ure just being ignorent and stubborn and won't allow relgion to prosper. pick up the quran and see those ayah's there as they are said unaltered. Tell me what the hell would show u truth then????

Mohammed, you shouldn't call people stubborn or ignorant. No offense, but the reason we aren't Muslim or any other religion is because we have not seen any proof. And there are other religions claiming that THEY are right. We don't know who to believe....That doesn't make us ignorant or stubborn. We just like to look at things from more than one point of view.

well, one of the major scientific theories is the theory of evolution, I believe that the idea that men descended from an ape-like creature is an anathema to islam.
and how old does the quran say the world is? billions of years or thousands? because science says the former.

I also heard something about that 'Islam will end when a man walks on the moon' (I may be wrong about that) but SCIENCE put a man on a moon.
