I totally understand what you are saying.

Here's the point I am trying to make.

Abraham according to Jewish and Christian scripture was a man who worshiped god, associated nothing with god, submitted himself completely to god's will, was an honest and righteous man and so on.

The above statement isn't just made by the Qur'an, it is made by their scripture. So what the Qur'an is telling them, let's forget about all the labels and follow the way of Abraham, whatever you want to call it is beside the point.

We want to follow the religion of Abraham, and we do know, as well as they do, that he was not Jewish and was not Christian, because such labels were only created after Moses on one hand and Jesus. So let us follow that religion of worshiping god alone, and be in total submission to him.

That would make total sense.
However , for me to sing from the same songsheet Abe was in direct contact with God. His message, uncorruptable, and perfect was still corrupted imperfectly. Gods laws, given to moses was that the jews were Ubermenchen and the master race, and could pretty much kill whoever they wanted with divine approval and reward. The Arabs were Untermenchen and merely targets for conquest.

I understand you beleive that this Jewish supremacy is a corruption of Allahs word, and this is why his final messanger was sent to , finally, this time, really get it right, at last. But my point is that, chronologically the jews have the edge on everyone. That cant be changed by revisionism.

Technically, I have no problem agreeing that the children of Israel (or Jews) had lots of stuff going on before lots of other people.

On another note, I just think Abraham is one prophet whom Jews, Christians and Muslims can agree about. So it's nice to have things in common, and have someone to look up to together.

As opposed to Jesus, whom Muslims say is Muslim, Jews say is a false prophet and Christians say is the son of god/god.

Yeah. He is either
1)A great prophet who will return again,
2)A Political activist snuffed out but unfortunatly turned into a super-martyer or
3) a weird hybrid God-Man-Ghost simultaniously killing himself to sate his own wrath for himself making sinful man. Which boggles me far more than anything Mohammed did.
