Default How big of a burden on Islam is the Jesus myth hypothesis

How big of a burden on Islam is the Jesus myth hypothesis, since Islam proclaims that Jesus is a prophet? I’m a former Christian that is fully aware of the fact that the Jesus story is an Astro-theology tale -- an astrological, mythological story, where early Christian gave human and animal attributes to stars and to plants. And since the Islam self-proclaimed prophet, Mohammed, was an actually person, how big of a burden on Islam is the Jesus myth? Can the Jesus myth falsify Islam?

On top of all of the above, did the same mythological angel who supposedly helped give birth to Jesus gave Mohammed his first revelation?

... according to the Bible.

Although both Muslims and Christians believe in Jesus, you'll find out we do have differences regarding his story.

For example both stories start the same way with Mary being miraculously pregnant, but then the story becomes fundamentally different regarding the accounts of his birth.

The Pagan symbolism is removed from the story when you read it from the Qur'an and from Islam's point of view in general. I'd suggest you read his story according to Islam, just to get another point of view is all

We believe the angel that delivered the good news to Mary of becoming pregnant with Jesus Christ is the same one that would reveal the Qur'an to Muhammad. It was angel Jibril (Gabriel), peace be upon him.

Of course we don't think it's just a mythological angel

The Muslims accounts of Jesus is simply plargarism. The Koran is erroneous.

OK, if you say so.

Just don't go around saying Islam and Christianity's account of Jesus is the same, because that's false.

And it's spelled plagiarism.

How come you don't type PBUH after Jesus's name? isn't that a law or something?

It's not a law but a form of respect. I always try to say it in my head, though not always typed.

Some have told me they don't like it when it's written.

What's your opinion as a non Muslim? Does it bother you when it's typed? Or are you more like whatever?

it's never really bothered me, but it feels a little tedious to read if you are talking about several people and use it a bunch of times. but that's your choice, so whatever makes you happy.

Do you understand that the Christians’ accounts of Jesus’ life is more plausible then the Islamic account because it was written centuries before?

Fine, if that's your criteria of proving things then that's your choice. You have a right to believe what you want.

Just so you know things written about Horus were written centuries before the bible too, and I still don't believe them.

Ahh, but the bible dosnt mention Horus!
The Quran references Jesus a couple of times, basically just to deny that he was god, and say that he will come again and a bit about him speaking in the crib.

If you were to take out of the Koran the verses that relate to
1)Doom for the unbeleivers, lots of interesting fire and boiling water
2) God is allah and he is the only god, follow him: I.E what Mohammed tells you
3) Flowing waters for the beleivers and how great they are

Your left with a pamphlet. At least jesus throws in a bunch of parables, even if they are mostly related to slaughter, intolerance and morally insane acts.
