Hi guys im Athren. I Have been looking for a place to talk to people about being agnostic. (found this forum from wikipedia)

Anyways

Some how I always get asked the question "what do you believe" (Meaning how we got here.on earth )

My response is always, "My View is that we got here from either a comet or asteroid" It has already been proven that cell's can stay dormant in the void of space and even survive a direct impact (*meaning organisms) from hitting a planet. (its also been a proven fact that planets spit swap)( meaning a planet can be hit by a comet/asteroid and the dust from that impact can travel to other planets) Given the right conditions (such as earth) cells divided etc etc.

So the bottom line here is what I tell people is that we came here from another planet that either blew up or spit swap. My problem is why do so many people find this hard to believe?

The only real flaw is that "well where did the cell's come from that were on that "comet/asteroid"

What are your girls/guys thoughts on this?

The spit swap theory is a sound theory. People that find ti hard to believe are usually theists who's thought process when it comes to origin, by nature of who they are and their upbringing, isn't usually anchored in logic.

In other words, their faith won't allow them too.

Wow Agnostic Forum is in Wikipedia as a header or as a reference? Anyway some scientists think we were created from star remains of stars gone nova so that might help you with your asteroid/comet thing!
