| Newbie Hi. New to this forum. Looking forward to browsing all the threads and learning about the site and about myself. What am I? I honestly have no idea. I was raised in a very non religious home by great parents. I have tried to embrace a lot of different beliefs in my lifetime and none have moved me to be a true believer in anything than the incredible power of the individual human spirit. I guess that would leave me somewhat of an objectivist in the style of Ayn Rand.
Thanks for the site, and thanks for the opportunity to learn about my spiritual self in an objective and intellectual manner without pressure to buy into beliefs and the threat of damnation and all.

| Welcome to the Forum! Yep Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead myself. Sounds like your searching out and feeling things over so... enjoy your stay!
Damnation? That only happens if you talk to the Religious folk on here to much!

Damnation? That only happens if you talk to the Religious folk on here to much! | Thanks for the welcome. You know, I really don't know a lot. What I do know is that the bible cannot be given a literal interpretation all the way through. Too much is metaphorical. I am looking forward to having some great discussions to help me find a happy way to see things. |

| Enjoy your stay duck.
Cruise the threads and you will find a great variation of beliefs, tolerances and intolerances .... but it's rarely dull
I hope you find answers and that some of the discussions open doors in your mind and perhaps even close a couple.
And of course, by all means, Welcome! Deb
