 Hello from Idaho
I am 57 years old and was raised a Presbyterian and have called myself a Christian all of my life but not with much conviction. Have just never seen things happen the way they are presented in the Bible. Lots of promises but lots of bad stuff happening despite prayer etc. And then the excuses that His ways are not our ways, it is a fallen world, it is God's timing, etc. God can't loose. It all ends in good because you go to heaven. Can't argue with that kind of stuff can you. Anyway, lots of questions but very few answers in my world. I am just looking for a little honesty about what people really believe. I think a lot of people are just hanging on to hope. Got nothing to lose except possibly the truth. |
