Default hey there

i hope you're all doing well. i think i should start out by saying i'm not sure if i'm really supposed to be here. i describe myself best these days as a "spritual agnostic" (a term i coined for myself). i don't know if some of you may think of that as an oxymoron. i'm by no means an atheist and my spirituality is very important to me. its just that right now, i'm unsure exactly what my spirituality is and am in a bit of a spiritual moratorium at the moment. i won't go into major depth of my spiritual life so as not to bore (or confuse!) you but i just want to say hi and i hope to have some good and in depth conversations on here about life, the universe, and everything (just thought of that douglas adams title )
take care

Hi and welcome

regarding belonging here ... well we're not that fussy, but you should remember this quote:

We get these kinds of intros all the time. I would say there are more spiritual agnostics here (myself included) than there are classic agnostics. Either way you are in good company and we discuss it all.
Welcome!

Welcome, Missfraggle!

I think I know what you mean about a spiritual moratorium... I've had some interesting experiences in the not-too-distant past, but have put them under the microscope of skepticism and am trying to figure out what actually did happen there...

...And I'm sure you'll fit in just fine here. 'Tis a fun place.

Welcome missfraggle, I consider myself an agnostic-theist so that may be something close to your spiritual agnostic. Also some may find it strange that I'm an agnostic theist who agrees with Atheist on almost everything o.0

There are actually people from various belief positions lurking around on this forum. There are some atheists, some agnostics (obviously), a few deists, and even a few Christians. In fact, I believe we even have a Muslim among our members, unless I'm mistaken.

Agnostic can be used to mean a lot of things. So it's not that hard to belong here.

In fact, from my observation, the only thing that is really frowned upon here is people barging in to preach their beliefs and witness to everyone. (I guess name calling and being all around rude and nasty wouldn't be welcomed, either).
