I'm the new guy as of now

So... hello everyone.

I have often searched for some Agnostic association, but only found Atheist/Agnostic student associations. I consider myself somewhat of a pure agnostic, not a mixed breed.
Through my life i've swung from being religious to atheist. Like many, however, i decided the pointlessness of kicking and screaming about one specific side and took the middle ground. Being in high school, it saddens me to see so much anger and hatred toward religious groups (namely Christians here in coastal California, but a Muslim was murdered around here not too long ago by a madman).
I've pledged myself to the Agnostic ideal, and it makes me happy to see a forum in which i can find tolerance and moderation.

That really shocks me, but hey, I'm from a somewhat sleepy northeast high school rather than California, so I'm probably ignorant where that's concerned.

I feel the same as far as tolerance is concerned. I was told many times that my thoughts were just a phase, so I'd be a total hypocrite if I criticized anyone for their beliefs.
