I think that's why I was so mad at Nick .... you were just a newb coming out of your shell and he wasn't easing you into things .... I try and look at how many posts a person has under their belt also .... no sense in being a bully just because you have a way with words .... I don't like bullies .....

Lol, i don't see anything wrong with what he said, ANYTHING.

However, i DO see something wrong woth some guy shouting out Baby Little Girl at me....boy was i mad about that!

Insults have no basis around them..which is always why I've never been a big fan about swear words...I think they just cover up what you REALLY mean, or how you really feel.

I like swear words certain ones can be used as nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs .... and they do weed out the prissy people right away ... at time I've used 'em purely for shock value .. didn't make it right but I had fun watching certain people react to just a simple word ....

future cultural anthropologists will be reading your diary some day and say WTF? a new language! so be sure and leave clues to help them out .... there's what about 10 of you guys that "know" this new language?

whatever happened to good old fashioned "pig latin"? you know "itch-bay", "uck-bay" now that is an easy language to figure out ...

you guys will have them scratching their collective heads/butts trying to figure out what a bunch of 16 years old girls were trying to say ..... ahhhhh ... youth

Sure. Your opinion matters, as long as it's insinque with what their belief system is. But, don't dare express something different. Or you're labelled with cute little pet names such as, troll, bigot, or something like that. So don't allow yourself to be swayed by those crazy Christians. Or else you're done for on this forum. Even though, they offer the thread spaces to have an "open" debate. No no. Don't do it. Don't show any signs of being swayed to the side of JESUS. Or you'll get a big beat down. But, hey. That's just been my experience. You need not take my word for it. All you have to do is see for yourself. Take care and GOD Bless You & Yours.

"Eternity is a really long time."
Now Buzz, its ok to state your opinion and tell others their opinion sucks as long as you dont call people names. In other words, you can insult their opinions but not their person. Abel and other christians here are able to post their opinions freely without others calling them bigot or troll because they dont call people names and Im sure you can do that too. So say what you wish about chrisitanity just be careful not to call people names and you will be ok.

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I've browsed this forum for quite some time, and finally decided to join.

Here's a little bit of info about myself.

This time last year, I was a devout christian, full of faith in the bible, evangelical, and quite sure of it all.

Then I began to think for myself.

I began to examine the bible with an open mind, and came to the conclusion that there's no way it could be the word of god. There are just too many contradictions, inaccuracies, and things that just don't line up with reality. But my mind change doesn't just come from that. It also comes from personal experience, and trying to apply biblical priciples and promises to my life, only to see them not hold up to my expectations. Expectations that come from the bible itself.

I have become a seeker of the truth, and I feel as if none of the world's religions are correct. In my opinion, no one knows where life comes from or where it goes from here. I now find it odd that people can be so sure of something, and can condemn others for their beliefs or lyfestyle, without any shred of evidence or proof that they hold the ultimate truth. Something that I used to do myself!

Now my recovery begins.

Cheers!
Welcome Jimmy!
Of all the intro posts I run across, the ones I like reading the best are the ones where I hear of former christians who have thrown off the shackles of that dysfunctional religion. You are free. Dont look back and dont let others tell you what to believe. Welcome to the forums!
