hello there, my name is kira and i stumbled upon this site jus this morning, and i would like to thank the ppl who created this site for the fact ive been lost on my religious views, and jus today decided that being an atheist couldnt be possibly right since, really, there is no proof that a god DOESNT exist, nor that a god does.well, im new here, and jus thought id say hi *waves* im new also to being an agnostic, so dont be too mean if i seem uninformed or uneducated about it. and yes, i plan to stick to this

Nah, no one should be too mean to you .... more likely they will tend to be condescending .... just ignore them ... and if you have anyone that is really mean too you ... get romash, wulfric, bjarki, Og ...and of course me) there are a couple of others ...oh hell! how can I forget Gesh! She is cool also. Og tends to be the smartest of all of us (don't let it go to your head Og) and he is able to out shine most with words ...

Just enjoy your time here, ask questions (none are to dumb) most of us started out just like you with a religious background and came to question that thought process .... remember you can always private message someone a question if you feel uncomfortable on open forum ...

I won't be mean to you (although I think I may have a reputation for being mean) as long as you're honest about where you are. And, based on your first post, I think you are. Actually, you seem to have agnosticism pretty much figured out. It's much more about now knowing than knowing, but that's OK, if a bit uncomfortable for us former Christians. There are precious few things we can purport to know, but at least they make sense to us.
