Agnostics claim to have neither evidence that there is a god, nor evidence that there is not, unless you deem a lack of evidence
for as evidence
against. I hope you stay open-minded and resist the temptation, after a few months or years trying to find answers about the existence of a god or gods, to light on some religion or other philosophy simply because it's the closest to making sense for you. With regard to a religion or philosophy to which you subscribe as a framework for your life, close is simply not good enough, even if you never find one that is.
