First of all, any concept with "a large following" is immediately suspect in my mind, simply because most followers are just that . . . followers and not original thinkers.
Secondly, you should keep searching. I'm very likely many years older than you are, and I'm still searching. It's just that I've been at it long enough to realize that I'll probably never find all the answers that too many religions purport to possess. And I'm OK with that because I think I've found enough of the answers to provide me with the guidance I need to live my life authentically and with purpose.
And when I think about that, in all honesty, I'm not really sure what else I need to learn.
