| Hello all Hello Everyone, This is my first post on this forum. Iīm 70% theist, 30% agnostic. I know that God as they put it in each religion, if He exsts must be different than a persona watching over us..He must be more than that..he must be an inteligent source in the universe..a creative force..after all itīs hard to believe that everything that has evolved so perfectly, as every form of life on this planet, came from nothing..can nothing be so well orchestrated?
Anyways, itīs nice to feel free and comment on questions like this on this forum..Iīm here to learn and ask deep question about faith, religion and such.
Thanks! |

Thanks! | Hi Aljo, and welcome. I have to admit to a certain attraction to the "intelligent design" theory myself. It anwers some questions, although not as many as organized religion does.
I'm interested in your 70/30 split between theism and agnosticism. Does that mean you're 70% certain there's a supreme being and 30% uncertain?
I predict that, if you're serious and objective about your search, you'll find that there's no more substantive reason to believe in a nebulous intelligent designer than one who's been named jehovah or allah.
Like you (I'm guessing), I've found it hard to observe all the complexity and order of the universe and not believe there's some plan behind it. But that supposition is all I've found to support such a theory and, as such, I've had to relegate it to the category of unknown and (so far) unknowable.

Thanks! | Who are you to say what God must be or not be? I know you're not God.
Also, every agnostic is theist or atheist so don't you think it's more like 50% each for you. No worries whatever it is. |

| I would say 70% theist and 30% atheist, that would be how I define myself. About my other comments I wrote before, those are more like questions I have not something I would say as true. I can not consider myself 50% atheist and theist so much because I have had for all my life a strong believe in God. Anyways, Itīs nice to know thereīs an interesting forum like this where you can ask so many controversial and interesting questions about God and Spirituality. |

I used to be christian before I started asking critical questions about the "loving" god of that religion.
Good luck on your journey, just like me you will learn a lot of truths here and a lot of lies . It's up to you to decide what you believe, I just hope you're willing to be open minded and fair. |
