Telling some one they are wrong without trying to understand them or teach/learn from each other is just a bummer. I kick myself in the arse because I lose out on a learning opportunity because I can’t keep my big mouth shut. I have done here, sorry to say, but I am working on less negatives. | Without negatives, positives are meaningless.
What is it that you and others of your ilk have against someone speaking his or her mind without pullling punches? This is not a feel-good kind of forum. If it fails to offer effective point-counter-point, it will wither and die from lack of interest.
I'm not basically a rude person, as some have claimed. But I'm also not basically a politically correct person because I've witnessed how political correctness obscures open and honest dialog.
If you and the other politically correct members get your way and effectively censor viewpoints that are opposed to yours, whether on the basis of political correctness or any other, then I'll join you in being "done here".

But explaining the difference between what you and I mean would be like explaining to my Ex-4yr son why he can't eat candy for dinner. He actually told me when we spoke about it "Yeah dad, Gum, fishes, and a candy bar is variety."
Yes my son, he, like you, are asleep. |

As far as your 4-year-old goes, it's understandable that you'd deal with him from an authoritarian standpoint since he can't yet understand what's good and bad for him. I just hope he grows up with the ability to express himself a bit more succinctly than his old man . . . but I doubt it.

I suggest you all ignore "skept" the more you reply to his nonsense the more he will go on and on ......
