Angry How to say welcome to the forum

Since I have seen many of our members unsure of how to be welcoming to new members in their introduction thread let me give you some pointers

The introduction thread is for someone new to introduce themselves to the forum.
It's where the regular members welcome the new member who is a complete stranger to the forums.

You should say hello and welcome.

In other threads you will discuss your opinion and debate to the death of your opinion which you think means something.

And you wonder why people don't stick around? No one wants to converse with someone who attacks them in their hello.

I'm not one who enjoys double standards:

Did I mention your name? No. As you can see others have done this. People don't come here to attack. But man, they end up having to defend themselves right away. I've been in more intro threads telling people to please stop attacking then any other forum.

As long as I'm not infringing on anyones freedom of speech; there's no problem. Debate in Welcome forum is acceptable if both parties engage.

I agree. Go debate. But it's polite to at least be welcoming and just say welcome. Will it kill you? Are you that thirsty to have people think you are ignorant and rude? We can just accept that now and move on. Please just be polite to people who come here and say hello. It's called say hello back.
Learn it. Little kids do.

I wholeheartedly agree and I admire your maturity. I would do well to learn to act the same.
