Asserting that I'm an agnostic certainly doesn't lock me in for life. It is, however, consistent with the beliefs I currently hold.
I'd say to you also, don't be concerned that identifying yourself locks you in for life. It doesn't. It'd just be nice to know how you currently, at this particular point in time, identify yourself. I've read a lot of your posts and I still can't figure out whether you're a fundamentalist christian with doubts about your beliefs, or whether you've got beyond the bible-thumping phase and are truly searching for a set of beliefs (or non-beliefs) that at least make sense to you.
Please elucidate me.
